Insight Out: Managing a Portfolio Career is a 5 week part-time course that offers 15 Birmingham City University graduates the chance to convert their creativity into ideas for innovative projects and successful enterprises. Think The Apprentice meets Dragon's Den - but with more constructive feedback!

Build your confidence and entrepreneurial skills, find new ways of thinking and learn the NESTA-approved Insight Out business models which will help you make the most of your ideas.

  • Learn presentation and pitching skills

*Translates as a £150 weekly bursary in addition to a £100 bursary on completion of the course assignments.

If you graduated from Birmingham City University between 2007-2009 (within BIAD or The Faculty of Performance, Media & English) and would like to know more about establishing yourself as a freelancer or setting up your own business, then this course is for you.

The programme is also open to anyone who has completed Insight Out: Community Enterprise
