Media skills training
As well as the undergraduate, postgraduate and professional qualifications the Department also offers a wide range of short courses for those working in or on the periphery of the media industry.
Based at Screen Media Lab, which houses an up-to-date industry led training facility, the Media Skills team offers a variety of professional media related courses.
The team's key aim is to bridge the gap between education, the creative sector and industry by delivering a variety of courses, workshops and seminars including entrepreneurial programmes, specialist accredited courses, summer schools for under and over 18s, broadcast journalism seminars, software development and High Definition training suitable for a wide range of individuals at any level.
